Nutella Chocolate Chip Cookie

I found this recipe because i wanted to make nutella cookies and this seems to be one of the simpler one that i could follow.. It is actually by Giada De Laurentiis from food network and you can view the original recipe here
Plus the description says that the cookie will be the soft and chewy type which i like! So here it is..
Did not have much expectation for the cookies as i cant really bake well.. but it received raving reviews from both TFB and the bro-in-law...
Actually it is really good.. but it doesnt taste that good after about two to three days later... so have it while it is fresh!
1 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup nutella
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cup chopped toasted hazelnuts (i did not add this thou)
I added milk chocolate chip instead of hazelnuts and it tasted very sweet! I will add semi sweet dark chocolate chip in the future to give it a twist and depth and reduce the sugar abit as we found it abit sweet....

Nutella Muffins

Found this recipe from In Our Kitchen
Baked this twice within the week as it is really nice! As the nutella is not mixed into the batter evenly and topped at the top of the muffin, the bottom of the muffin has a very nice vanilla taste and the top crust taste like nutella chocolate cookie...
Will definately make it again!
